Singer-songwriter, actor, Sierra Vista, Arizona native and Los Angeles based artist Titus Makin releases the official visual to his new smash single “Ropes.” An obvious vocal powerhouse but the young star is no stranger to the big screen as well having starred on Fox’s “Glee,” “Pretty Little Liars” and his current character Caleb Matthews, a musician, on Hulu’s “The Path.” He’s a multifaceted threat indeed.
The lively Reininga Brothers directed visual displays his lyrical imagery seamlessly. “Ropes” tells a great melodically written account of the recurring ethical tug-of-war battle we all quarrel with daily.
Makin states,”Ropes is about the constant war we have with ourselves every single day! When we want to do good but evil is always present with us. The inward battle of trying to rid yourself of old harmful habits and cling to the healthy. Keeping your connection to God & not turning away trying to fulfill your own selfish desires”
His new single ‘Ropes’ will be available on all digital and streaming platforms on October 11th. With another single ‘Good Love’ coming out in a few weeks and a second EP ‘Lean’ in the making.
Titus sings:
Lips are moving , reading lines
Bite the bullet but I’ll take the knife/ I’m always my own worst enemy
I destroy every master-piece by piece I put myself together just to fall
