Portuguese musician and tattoo artist Nelson Graf Reis releases the official visual to his genuine single “Ocean” off his We Bless this Mess project. Reis’s vocal execution listens with blissful, passionate awkwardness through story-telling lyrics and a willingness to be transparent in his music. “Ocean” conveys a tale of love and positivity.
In late 2014, a trip to Brazil by the well travelled Reis resulted in the birth and recording of the debut EP “Love and Thrive” at FM2 Audio Studios. Since the project’s inception, song-smith Nelson has proven to be a driving force of creativity. In the first year We Bless This Mess performed 49 dates, both solo and with the band across Portugal, Germany and England to promote the folk-punk future anthems: “Love and Thrive” and “Contemplate”.
Reis’s idiosyncratic approach to music and his obvious relentless drive separates this rising star from the masses; check out “Ocean” below.
Oh hear the sound of nature
The color of the sky
‘Cause we are meant to be
oh, we are meant to shine
