Tee Krispil Releases her Unorthodox Approach to Music with her latest EP ‘One Way Ticket’

“Hip-hop taught me how to be a source of realness in the world.”  -Tee Krispil

Songwriter and artist Tee Krispil releases this unorthodox body of work entitled One Way Ticket dipped in eight tracks that dive into genres of hip-hop, indie-soul, her own idiosyncratic vibes and lyrical potency. The imperative messages present in her music from equality, to defying gender norms she stops at nothing to make her points discernible and blatant.

She’s also took to educating herself on the art of music having studied digital music production amid obviously being inspired by some of hip-hop’s heavy hitters. She’s toured and shared stages with Hip-hop legends and joined the West Coast rap group The People North West. Her sound juxtaposed with her alluring style and countenance will surely slingshot her to deserved heights. Rather you like instant head-bobbing vibes like “Let It Slide” or lyrically daring records like “Badangadang;” no matter the track you’ll feel the record not just hear it; indulge below!

Tee Krispil reflects on her EP:

This EP is about many things, but the title One Way Ticket is a play on words alluding to how we are all on the same journey, as one. Set to drop on July 12th, the project is laced with metaphor, style, and musicality. My producer Moxsa aka Ari James brings old school flavour with new school sounds to create a truly unique sonic experience that’s reminiscent of the 90’s, but definitely relevant to today’s hip-hop.

I love to read, travel, explore, write poetry, turn up to obnoxious trap, work hard, chill hard. I own a CBD tea company called FLEURS, cannabis is a huge part of my life.  I smoke weed pretty much every night, and I view it as an extremely important tool for my creative growth. I also enjoy adaptogen & Psilocybin blends or LSD. I like to microdose LSD while I write music, in fact most of this EP was written using microdoses of LSD and Psilocybin.
