“When your idols become your rivals.” Machine Gun Kelly “Rap Devil (Eminem Diss)”

Eminem’s surprise album didn’t just surprise fans but it also astonished fellow rappers whose names were mentioned in some of the tracks off his latest Kamikaze album. Machine Gun Kelly who once idolized the hip-hop legend is one of the first to respond by releasing a diss-track entitled “Rap Devil” and he leaves nothing unsaid. MGK literally calmly snaps on this record flowing effortlessly amid lyrically attacking the ‘Rap God’s’ catalog of work, mentions his daughter Hailie as well, the weight Dr. Dre’s beat placed on his success and questions if he’s really “about that life” to name a few.

MGK raps, “We know you get nervous Rabbit I see momma’s spaghetti all over your sweater, I wish you would “Lose Yourself” in the records that you made a decade ago they were better, according to them your a national treasure ,to me you were soft as a feather…”

We all hate when hip-hop greats collide but if a dope record is produced from the aftermath I guess that’s a fair price. What are your thoughts on “Rap Devil,” no doubt its lyrical but are you a die hard Eminem fan or are you resting comfortably on MGK’s side? Indulge below.

Machine Gun Kelly raps:

Let’s call Sway ask why he can’t go up to Shade 45 because of you
Let’s ask Interscope how you had Paul Rosenberg trying to shelf me
Still can’t cover up the fact the last four albums as bad as your selfie
Now tell me what do you stand for?
I know you can’t stand yourself
