Solange Blesses the World with 19 Tracks on Suprise Album ‘When I Get Home’

Solange represents an undeniable, Einstein-like creative vibe that reverberates off the souls of listeners. The follow up to A Seat at the Table comes at no better time. When I Get Home features collaborations with the likes of Pharrell , Tyler the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt to name a view. We knew this body of work would be stunningly abstract and aurally blissful.

The time off was well spent and even better executed.

“There is a lot of jazz at the core,” Solange told The New York Times’ about the project. “But with electronic and hip-hop drum and bass because I want it to bang and make your trunk rattle.”

From instant essential, controversial vibes like “My Skin My Logo” to experimental tunes like “Almeda” this album just plays out, no need to skip or move around just let it rock.
