The L.A stationed alternative-pop duo , Emotional Oranges, releases their candid new tune “Built That Way,” bathed in some bouncy neo-soul vibes and infectious melodies. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu “Mama’s Gun” inspired track dances over genres of RnB, soul and blues. “Built That Way” marvels in their peaking versatility compared to their debut single “Motion,” a funky, time-capsuled track, this particular record reveals their sonic experimentation in the best way.

In reflection the duo stated, “This song is about feeling close enough to your partner that you ask them for their unfiltered opinion, even if they think their truth will hurt you.”

Real relationships are models of rectitude that survive the plights, the triumphs and everything in between.
