IKONIC VISUAL: Neon Dreams – “We Were Kings”

Neon Dreams last featured for his single “Guilty” returns with another potent release entitled “We Were Kings.“ The Utah desert shot, Alex Gayoso and self directed visual rests in simplicity but drowns in lyrical complexities. A sonic effort that details the hardships of a young boy growing up in a world without the proper resources to the naked eye but beneath the surface he’s experienced a village worth of assistance.

Neon Dreams reflects on the records conception, ““We Were Kings” is a heartfelt thank you to those that helped me get through my difficult teenage years. I wanted to make a song that shows these people they’re always in my heart. Nothing has ever changed about my feelings towards them.””

Everyone has a story, some people put it on a track and others just live it as they see fit without aural documentation. It’s his rustic and fervent delivery that allows listeners to truly feel this track; indulge below.
