Haisha Porter’s “Popeyes and Patron,” a New Classic

Haisha Porter, last featured for her steamy single “Feelin’ Hot,” returns with another sure-fire banger entitled “Popeyes and Patron.”

With the recent Popeyes chicken sandwich craze, this record could come at no better time. However, don’t let the title set your lyrical expectations. Haisha scripts a classic RnB tune that sifts through nostalgic Donell Jones “You Know What’s Up” vibes amid a juicy lover’s tale.

The Hero produced, Scotti Taylor Jr. engineered and Glenn Schick mastered record oozes with quality, stunning sonic layers and swelling production as Haisha delivers a flawless performance with vocal arranging assistance from Scotti as well. More than a song, this is a record that revels in her innate flair for melody shifting, her distinct tone and her natural ability to create a unique listening experience.

Haisha states that the inspiration for “Popeyes and Patron” was a simple daydream turned into a dope record.
