Dreamville Releases ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III: Director’s Cut’ feat. JID, Buddy, Reason, Ari Lennox & More

Real music thrives in the youth, it lives in this generation not just in its predecessors and Dreamville continues to drive that truth home with this latest extension.

On Tuesday Dreamville dropped off 1/16 which included Ari Lennox’s “BUSSIT” and Earthgang’s “Still Up” featuring Reason. Today they release the full length deluxe project loaded in 12 ikonic collaborative efforts amid some much-needed lyrical grit to kick off 2020.

The Grammy nominated original Revenge of the Dreamers III already boasted with features from J. Cole, Childish Major, Lute, Omen, T.I and more and they jam packed the extendo-version with even more heat from the likes of Guapdad4000, 6LACK, Buddy and more.

This body of work listens like when hip-hop, soul, poetry and budding lyrical sensations collide on one epic front from sultry inevitable favorites like “BUSSIT” to eclectic tunes like “Spin Move” to new waves like “Up Up Away.” Hard hitting efforts like “No Chorus,” a shared track between Bas, Dreezy, Buddy and Guapdad 4000 gift this project another impressive layer of lyricism. Relatable, blunt modern-day sonic narratives like “Passcode” featuring Ari Lennox, Buddy, Smino, Mez and Guapdad 4000 delve into present-day relational insecurities.

Overall it’s a worthy continuance coated with raw, unparalleled talent; a must listen!
