The way she melds the new school with the old school represents the timelessness of music.
For her “High Fashion” remix she keeps the classic Lil Kim “Crush On You” production in the background and she slows it down for “The Box” as Donell Jones’ “Where I Wanna Be” instrumental backs up her vocals.
The melodies present in both of Roddy’s records leave the remix potential essentially infinite.
