Almost 25 years ago we lost one of the most prolific and poetic emcee’s of all time. Tupac Shakur did more than make music, he placed his heart, his pain and his reality over production thus creating sonic art that stands the test of time. Today he would’ve been 49 years young, a living legend.
The content of his music still rings true today. During these unfortunately prejudice times, classics like “Changes” and “Keep Ya Head Up,” remain lyrically relevant.
Tupac, a trailblazer, trendsetter, an unapologetically intrepid soul, lives on through his music.
Happy Birthday!
