Trust Your Timing

Are you on your own timetable or are you looking at everyone else’s?

Yes, there are 16-year-old millionaires. Yes, there are billionaire tech start-ups. Yes, Jeff Bezos really has a net worth of over 175 billion dollars. Yes, her body really is that snatched. Yes, he really does have a watch on his wrist worth more than your home. Yes. Yes. Yes.

But, what do any of the above statements have to do with you? Find inspiration in the success of others but don’t be envious at someone else’s accomplishments. What’s the difference between them and you? Work ethic? Connections? Race? Opportunity? Whatever the differences, just be cognizant that they are on their journey as you need to be on yours.

Remember, in class before a test, the teacher would always tell you to keep your eyes on your own paper? That’s a vital lesson that doesn’t come around full circle until your older. You could cheat off your classmate because you think they are the smartest kid in class but when the tests come back, you both failed. Life can be the same way. Apply your own knowledge to life’s tests and you will pass, you may fail once or twice but eventually you’ll get it right. Keep your eyes on your own paper. Keep your eyes on your own goals. Keep your eyes on your own investment portfolios. Keep your eyes on your own body. Keep your eyes on your own timetable.

Life and opportunities will pass you by while you’re blankly staring off into your neighbor’s sunset instead of your own. You are destined for whatever level of greatness your willing to work for.

One more time for those in the back.

You are destined for whatever level of greatness your willing to work for.

Stop being lazy, put the work in and although you won’t see results immediately, overtime you will. Over your time.

Stay focused!
