Stop announcing everything.
Everybody doesn’t need to know your every move. Silence still speaks volumes thus, your moves made in silence are still moves being made. I idolize moguls like JAY-Z and Ray Dalio, both are experts in their fields and both are professional aficionados of business management and wealth accumulation. Furthermore, they both make silent moves. Why do people feel the need to announce all their wins or investments or business ventures to the public? What are they trying to prove? What are you trying to prove?
I’m the type to just pop up married. I’m the type to invest my money and watch it grow – silently. I’m the type to try new business ventures and during the learning process, I keep it to myself. I work on myself – silently. I work on my spiritual well-being – silently. I work on my finances – silently. I work on my relationships, personal and otherwise – silently. The only entities I promote are my store KulturallyAppropriate.com, my writing services, and of course, my blog as well. People know what I want them to know. Random people and random followers don’t need to know your every move.

Furthermore, even if you’re not announcing the moves you know that they’re still being made and that’s all that should matter. If you’re selling something, obviously announce that but, even that announcement should be strategic. Don’t just announce what you’re working on because you feel that people need to know about it – they don’t.
Before social media and technology people were extremely successful and most of them still are. Learn how to keep some things to yourself, all secrets aren’t bad secrets. Moreover, most people are praying on your downfall but, you don’t have to let them know that you’re winning, let them believe whatever helps them sleep at night. Your moves are being made to better you. However, if you’re making moves merely to s*** on whomever you perceive as competition – you’re motivation is clearly skewed. What motivates you? Is it goal achievement or goal awareness? Is it a worldly motivation? Is it a spiritual motivation? Whatever the motivation – it’s personal, it’s about you, it doesn’t have to be about them too.
Get back to work and keep it on the hush.
