Bad days are inevitable.
However, how you handle those bad days determines if it turns into a bad week, a bad month, a bad year, a bad life.
I hate bad days because I have so much to be grateful for. I’m so proud of me. But, when I have a bad day it makes me feel… I was looking for the words but, I can’t find them. It’s a feeling. Bad days are just that – bad. But, how hard do you try to turn that day around? Do you meditate? Do you pray? Do you read a book to escape into the days of others? Do you workout, to release aggression? Do you call your best friend?
I usually read and I call my best friend. I love him because he just listens. Bad days don’t always need advice, sometimes they just need a silent ear, a person that will listen to you vent without providing a solution. Other people can’t give you a solution for how to make yourself feel better.

One more time for those in the back.
Other people can’t give you a solution for how to make yourself feel better.
You and you alone have that control.
You want my best advice for how to cure a bad day – just have it.
Have that bad day, this is the real world, this is reality. This is not some euphoric utopia doused in happiness and Brady Bunch tendencies. You are going to have bad days, wallow for a day, cry, isolate yourself but, just don’t stay there – don’t turn it into an extended vacation.
You are infinite. You have the power to control your emotions.
Misery loves company, even if it’s just the toxic company of your own thoughts.

Everyday won’t be awesome and productive and beautiful, some days are like a hurricane, a bad storm, a mental disaster – that’s okay. Have your bad days but, be sure to find healthy outlets as well. I like to escape into books and allow the imagery to blanket my own thoughts. Find your outlets and plug into them as needed.
You got this.
