Don’t use being “busy” as a crutch for your clear disinterest.

For those who would rather listen than read, I’ve got you covered. Listen to my latest article by clicking above!

“I’m busy.”

“Okay, and so am I.”

You shouldn’t have to fight for communication from a person who allegedly “likes” you.

One more time for those in the back.

You shouldn’t have to fight for communication from a person who allegedly “likes” you.

Let’s take it back in to time. Do you remember the era before cell phones, when a boy or girl would have to call your house and say, “Hello, can I speak to so and so…” and their voice would crack a little bit because their nervous? Well, those days are over and we no longer have to go through that yet, we still can’t even get a text back.

Stop fighting for communication from people who stated that they were interested in you. They came to you, now all of a sudden their busy? They take hours to text back, they don’t like talking on the phone, their overwhelmingly “busy,” excuses, excuses, excuses. Excuses are tools of the incompetent. Would you like an incompetent partner? No, so stop entertaining this one that has every excuse in the book for why they can’t make time for you. But, I bet you, if you switch it up and put your body on the menu – they’ll have all the time in the world.

Don’t let somebody place you on their value menu – you are a five star experience so, stop settling for dollar menu effort.

How are we supposed to get to know people without communicating with them? When was the last time you stayed up on the phone all night, talking about nothing in particular but, you both enjoyed the conversation so much that time escaped you? Don’t worry, I’ll wait. For me, it’s been years but, hey sometimes that’s just the way the cookie crumbles.

Don’t let somebody “I’m-busy” you to death. Barack made time for Michelle. Don’t hide behind, “I’m busy,” just say that you’re not interested. If they’re that busy, this is not a good time for them to date so, you need to exit stage left. Don’t beg for consistent and adequate communication. When someone truly likes you, your on their mind, they want to know how your day went, what you accomplished, what you ate, how you’re doing etc. However, when a person has a lukewarm interest in you, they’ll apply lukewarm effort.

You deserve someone who’s on fire for you.

Accept nothing less.
