Hey November! Issa #SelfCareChallenge Month!

November is that you playa?

Ya boy October went by mighty fast but, we’re happy you’re here. I am speaking nothing but abundance, prosperity, wealth and good vibes over this month but, if all of those things are to come from me, I need to make sure I’m taking proper care of myself. I challenge you to put yourself first this month. Whatever do I mean? Let me elaborate.


Challenge #1: Workout.

When you look good, you feel good. Cliche, I know but it’s true! You don’t have to workout six days a week, like I do, but be sure to do some form of exercise, at least three or four days a week. Don’t say you don’t have the time, that would be starting the challenge off on a bad note and we’re not doing that! Make the time and get active!

Challenge #2: Do what makes you happy.

You probably believe that you’re already doing this but, are you really? Are you saying “yes,” when you really want to say, “no.” Are you taking enough days off? Are you living for the approval of others or for yourself? Do you even know what makes you happy? If not, start searching, start trying new things, start making new friends, start planning that move if your current city no longer serves you etc. To be happy is a blessing, don’t rip that blessing from yourself because of your own choices.

Challenge #3: Set some boundaries.

Maybe this should’ve been the second challenge but nonetheless. Setting some healthy boundaries is a huge part of self-care, you cannot skip this part. Most people are miserable in life because of a lack of boundaries, don’t let that be you.

Read or listen to my article on boundaries here. You deserve respect and consideration. The only people that get mad about you setting boundaries are the people that benefited from you having none and that stops this month!

Challenge #4: Treat yourself and don’t feel guilty about it.

This one is extremely hard for me. I am a very frugal person thus sometimes treating myself seems like a chore versus a reward but that stops today! Take a peak at my self-care vlog from this past weekend below. You deserve to treat yourself, rather that’s to a spa or a new Netflix series, just do it!

Alright, it’s only four challenges, but each one entails more than you may think. Take it day by day. You got this!
