From holiday classics like “All I Want for Christmas” to RnB anthems like “Freak Me,” this FLUX and Drumz & Roses produced mash-up marries the aura of jingle bells with the sultry seduction of soul music as they lyrically reveal a tale of two naughty lovers. Santa’s obligation to deliver gifts around the world gets a bit off track when he stops by Mrs. Grinch house first.
“Secret Santa” listens with explosive nostalgia and unapologetic festive decadence as these two vocalists melt into one another amid rewriting some classics to tell a narrative all their own. Inspired by the longing to create a track that takes you on a steamy ride through evocative bops like J. Holiday’s “Bed” to ageless Christmas tunes like “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch,” they’ve covered all the bases from bedrooms to mistletoes.
