I’m a Taurus and we are known to be unapologetically loyal. It’s one of the most unfortunate side effects of this zodiac sign, if you ask me, because sometimes we allow our loyalty to become slavery. Yes, I know, it’s not only Taurus’ that suffer from this anchored devotion but, I’m speaking from my own perspective.
True unfiltered allegiance is an attractive character trait but it can be easily abused.
Loyalty is abundantly apparent, you can’t hide it or conceal it – it’s there. We see it and we feel it. However, being loyal to the wrong people can end in disaster, if it ever ends. Know the difference between loyalty and ignorance, between selflessness and relational naiveté.
Is your loyalty being matched?
That’s the real question. In most cases, if you must ask yourself that question, you already know the answer. Stop treating people how you would like to be treated in hopes that it will cause them to treat you how you would treat you – it won’t.
One more time for those in the back.
Stop treating people how you would like to be treated in hopes that it will cause them to treat you how you would treat you – it won’t.
Stop being ”ride or dies” for people who got out the car a long time ago. Gift your loyalty to those who reciprocate it. Reciprocated loyalty is never a burden, it’s a blessing. Don’t enslave yourself to unwavering loyalty for someone else, just don’t. If you continue to pour yourself into someone’s empty cup, they’ll let you – don’t give them that option.
