Success is relative, as is ambition, wealth and happiness. What they all have in common though is this one thing: to achieve in any of those categories you must show up.
Most people want results without true action. You want a stellar body but you don’t consistently show up to the gym. You want inner peace but you only show up for the chaos. You want to be a better painter but you don’t show up to the canvas. You want to be a better mother but you don’t show up at all. You need to be present to accomplish what you desire.
One more time for those in the back.
You need to be present to accomplish what you desire.
Not just physically present but mentally, emotionally, spiritually and sometimes financially. Your body can be in attendance while your soul has left the building. How bad do you want it? Whatever ”it” is? Do you want it bad enough to be uncomfortable, to be consistent, to be truly relentless in your pursuit? Do you want it bad enough to give up what’s standing in the way between success and failure? If not, that’s fine but don’t complain about your lack of advancement when your work ethic is a grade F. Do you want a grade A life, a grade A bank account, a grade A body, a grade A relationship – then show up and show out!
Your idols showed up and that’s why you admire them. Be your own idol and show up for yourself. If you don’t go hard enough for you, don’t expect anyone else to. Show up everyday. Don’t microwave your success – bake it!
You got this!
