Am I Too Bright?

I won’t dim my light because its blinding you, put some shades on!

One more time for those in the back.

I won’t dim my light because its blinding you, put some shades on!

This season that I’m in includes unapologetic laughter, more flights than problems, a better body, a more expansive mind, in-depth spiritual healing and severed ties. It’s a great time to be me and I’m going to bring this season into the next and the next until it becomes a lifestyle instead of a moment in my history. I’ve become slightly addicted to calling my happiness a “season” but that indicates that it’s temporary like spring or fall and it’s not. Soon enough I’ll accept this joy as a forever-thing and not a seasonal occurence.

One of my goals in life is to inspire, to inspire others to be happy, full, successful, fit and a bit careless. It’s the carelessness that makes my life so enjoyable. I don’t care about anything or anyone that doesn’t serve me. I won’t shrink my abundance to better suit your reality.

One more time for those in the back.

I won’t shrink my abundance to better suit your reality.

I’m so selfish right now and I owe no apologies other than to myself for the years that I considered others first when they put me last or not at all.

I no longer smile to cover pain, it’s genuine, authentically placed and intentional and I understand if it makes some people uncomfortable to see me this elevated, this healed and this happy. It scares me a little bit sometimes but I wouldn’t trade my journey to “now” for anything in the world – this is God’s plan. It’s bigger than me!

This shine is God-gifted and God-intended.

Pray on your elevation. Work on your glow-up and when you get it, let it shine bright. Blind your haters if you have to!

You got this!
