Personal Trainers Work With Proper Diet!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I took a break for a while but I’m back now and I post a good amount of fitness content. Many of you have asked will I step into the personal training field and to that I say, “Who knows what 2023 will hold.”

Moving on, in October, I got a personal trainer. I had been working out on my own for years without really seeing any real results and do you know why? It’s because I wasn’t doing the kitchen work. Getting up and going to the gym everyday is the easy part but that’s only an hour or two out of your 24 hour day. What you do outside of the gym is imperative. Proper diet is essential to garnering the fitness results you desire. It’s not just about eating “healthy.” It’s about eating what your body needs and including supplements that are geared towards promoting those desired results. For example, if you want to lose weight, you wouldn’t buy a protein powder that’s geared towards weight gain. If you want to gain weight you wouldn’t eat less etc.

I know, it seems like common sense but a lot of people desire results that their kitchen efforts contradict. For years, I worked out and then went to Chick-fil-A and ate cookies and tons of processed foods but I figured, “Hey, I can outwork a bad diet,” – wrong.

You cannot, I repeat, cannot outwork a bad diet and why would you want to?

If you want to workout a lot, you need food that fuels you, not food that leaves you fatigued. That said, if you take the leap and decide to get a personal trainer, do not blame them for your lack of results if you aren’t doing the kitchen work. Many trainers get labeled as “ineffective” when they have a slew of clients that show up to training but don’t show up in the kitchen. Trainers are not only a personal investment but a financial one – don’t waste your money because you lack discipline. Listen to them because that’s what you’re paying them the big bucks for. If you knew better – you wouldn’t need them!

2023 is around the corner – dedicate this next year to achieving your best body and see what happens.

You got this!
